I hold a TEFL Premier Certificate and Cambridge C1 Advanced qualification and am currently completing a degree in English philology. I come from a half-Czech, half-Irish bilingual background and grew up in the mountains of northern Czechia, where switching naturally between languages shaped both my identity and my approach to teaching English.
My bilingual upbringing, combined with immersive experiences abroad, has given me a strong sensitivity to how language works in real contexts—not only grammatically, but culturally and stylistically as well. I have a particular academic interest in English linguistics and literature, which strongly informs my teaching and helps students develop a deeper understanding of the language beyond memorisation.
